Silt fence is made of a woven fabric containing polypropylene yarns. Silt fences are used to temporarily control sediment and avoid silt pollution in rivers, drains and sensitive environments. It is a long-lasting silt barrier ideally used on construction sites in order to promote temporary water quality control and deter runoff sediment.
